Linda Seibert

Susan Cadena

A travel agent for over 15 years, Susan Cadena, CTC, has a strong background in European travel. She is a Destination Specialist for Western Europe, an Austria Certified Travel Specialist and also holds teaching degrees in German and French. The subject of her travel resource paper for her CTC designation was "Upscale Rail Travel in North America", reflecting her longtime love of train travel. She was fortunate to have the opportunity to ride the luxury "American Orient Express" in November 2000, on a special run from Phoenix to Denver. Her other travel niches include hiking/biking tours and the continental U.S., Canada and Mexico. Christa

Christa started her career in the travel industry a while ago, when you still looked for flights in the OAG, you called in the reservation to the airlines and calculated and handwrote your own ticket. She remembers your airline rep putting a bottle of champagne on board for your special client. Oh well... In the meantime she traveled pretty much all over the world and covered lots of continents, trying to experience the different cultures and customs as well as tricky parts to avoid, so she could best consult her clientele. She especially enjoys putting together European custom fitted itineraries for the more adventurous out of the box thinking clients. She earned her CTC (certified travel consultant) 1982 and thinks it is very important for the travel industry to pursue a higher degree of education.
